Love - Art - Disease - Pain - Life-Humanness - "Otherness"
In our desensitised society,
the artists,
the bohemians, poor, discarded,
"others", recovering addicts -
all are more in touch
with their human-ness
than the so called
mainstream.
Despite everything -
HUMANNESS, LOVE, LIFE, ART survives.

Hey guys,
I know it's been a while since I posted...but it's been way hectic in johnville. Next week is my 28th birthday...and I'm leaving Friday afternoon for a weekend in NYC with Dan, Kevin and Robin. We're finally getting to see the preview of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS on Broadway! I'm totally stoked!
I need to start back up on my Broadway Bear...as I haven't even touched her in months. Everything is laid out nicely, though.
We're about to gear up on promoting the second run of SARAH LYNN'S CHRISTMAS PRESENT...which should be fun. I'm meeting tonight with my publisher to go over some new, bigger and better plans for this promotion.
Less than a month before my big bro gets married! Holy smokes...I can't believe it's happening. I'm so proud of him! I hope it's not too hot in Boston...
Went up to see Alex in Rock Hill last weekend. He's totally cool and I love hanging out with him and his friends. Hope to see more of them soon. =o )
Oh yeah...and as a Wednesday treat...go HERE. Pretty darn cool, eh?!
So is this:

Aight. Back to the real, working world. And Elton John, too.
Laters,
-J
